Tell us about the importance of teamwork and collaboration in your job and the wider airport industry.

The importance of teamwork and collaboration within the airport industry is quite crucial. The airport industry is one that I have found is particularly supportive and helpful for its members.

There's always people, peers at other airports, your technical inspectors, your regulator, CASA... They are always willing to help and provide support where required. It's a fantastic industry to get into. It's very nurturing.

The airport industry is never boring, particularly in my role where I get the best of both worlds. I can be inside in the office preparing method of works plans, going through projects and then I can be outside and being there when we break dirt.
